In an effort to "find myself", I've realized that I have a whole other self, a creative and colorful self, that was dying to come out.  I have realized that what makes me happy is giving myself to the world through writing, art, crafts, projects, acting, and anything else that allows me to express my true persona.  I am still in the toddler stages of this whole new creative life, and Hubpages allows me to practice and grow one face of my creative cube.  I am not a professional writer or journalist.  I've never taken actual writing classes and English was my least favorite subject in high school and college.  But now that I have realized that writing is a wonderful venue to express my imagination without people thinking that I am weird or that I am ranting pointless ideas, I am eager to learn more about this whole writing process.  Hopefully as I continue to write Hubs, I will continue to learn and grow, and I will get better and better until my hubs have a competitive quality that I'd never imagined possible.
